Amid reports that lengthy discussions have been under way between Aston Villa and ex-Manchester United boss David Moyes regarding the club’s vacant managerial post, the Scotsman is now odds on to take up the post at B6 for next season.
After seeing his odds drift as high as 18/1 last week, Moyes is now 4/6 favourite to become the new Aston Villa job with Champions League winning boss Roberto Di Matteo seemingly now out the running following rumours he’s putting pen to paper with Italian outfit Roma to be their new boss.
Hull manager Steve Bruce who was heavily linked to the Villa job this spring is now a 12/1 outsider to become next Villa manager whilst Nigel Pearson is still in the running but is now 3/1 with most betting companies to be appointed by the Midlands club.
